well-balanced choral. ensemble.

their enthusiastic leader, has
moulded these ladies, many of

Church, Tuesday, October 24 at
8:30. p.m. Among the highlights
is a song, the words of which
were composed by our own
Tommy Pritchard and sung by
Mrs. P. Saunders, the original
soloist. To add to the color of
the evening the group are dres-
sed in beautiful Centennial dres,
ses.
Another treat in store will be
solos by Barbara McKee,' cell
known and popular singer with
the Harbouraires,and a ladies
instrumental quartette.
This will be the last 'chance
to hear this group in such fav
orites as a medley from Sound
of Music, and a group of old
time songs, Wher'er you Walk
etc. as they are starting on a
program of songs for the Christ-
mas season.

The CGIT girls of Dungan-
non United Church held their
first meeting for the year Oc-
tober 4 with 14 present. -Mrs.
Graham McNee and Mrs. Fred •
Young will be the leaders.
The meeting opened with the
CGIT purpose and a hymn and
prayer. Plans were discussed
for the winter and tare girls will
be selling Christmas cards and
packaged nuts. The Officers will
be president, Martha Eedy, vice
president, Peggy Young, secre-
tary and press reporter, Audrey
Errington, treasurer, , Heather
Park. The meeting closed with
,prayer.

CORRECTION
In last week's edition the
S ignal-S tar report on the obit-
uary of Henry Richard flail,
DDS, inadvertently referred to
the deceased as Mr. Hall wheii
in fact, he- 'was a Doctor of
Dental Surgery. He should have
been referred to as Dr. Hall

next of kin for any inisimder-
standing caused by this error.
Unmentioned in Dr. Hall's
obituary was the fact that he
was predeceased by onebrother
Thomas Hall and one sister,
Elizabeth Hall.
The "Dungannon Home,Mak-
ers" held their seventh meeting
with Wanda Wilson, president,
and Mgrs. Ivan Rivett and Mrs.
Bill Black as leaders and ten
members present. Each girl
is making a throw cushion and
a dresser scarf. The scarf is
done with Italian hemstitching,
with each girl displaying three
or more articles on their
achievement day, November 18
in W ingham.
