Auburn Horticulture Society
meeting in the Community Mem-
orial Hall with president Mrs..
Frank Raithby in charge.
The minutes were read by the
secretary, Mrs. Bert Craig. In
the absence of the treasurer,
Mrs. Norman McDowell, Mrs.
Bert Doran presented the fin-
ancial statement showing that a

to Bob Turner who had placed
both sets of Auburn letters in, a
cement base at both entrances to

Manchester garden early in De-
cember.

ferent occasions and demonstrat-
ed how they are made.

Hobos, goblins, beatnigks,
witches and bridal parties were
among the costumes worn at
the annual Hallowe'en party
held by the Auburn CGIT girls
in the Sunday school, room of
,Knox Presbyterian Church. The
girls were welcomed by the pro-
gram committee composed of

and Cathy Schneider. The grand
march was held with Mrs. W.
Bradnco as pianist. The judges
were Mrs. Ed. Davies, Mrs. Tho-
mas Haggitt and Mrs. Ben Ham-

106th Anniversary
Knox Presbyterian Church
held it's 106th anniversary ser-
vice last Sunday afternoon. The
service was in charge of the
guest speaker, Rev. Harry Waite,
