Reed read • the Scripture. Lucy
Johnston followed with a medi-
tation; Helen Williams led in
prayer. Alice McGraw 'played
the accompaniment for the sing-
ing of hymns. •
Betty McKenzie read the
minutes; Christena Hyde gave
the treasur'er's report. The
nominating cornmittee for next
-year are Dorothy McConnell,
Sadie Gilders and Helen Allison.
Audrey Royal gave a short
talk concerning the mission of
Miss Ida White as , a nurse in
the Bhil' Field, India. It was
decided to send the usual Christ-
mas cheque to Miss White; also,
that a special offering is to be
taken up next month, as a per-.
sonal,gift to Ida. •
Sadie Gilders and Ruth
Skeoch received the offering'.
Mrs. Enright, literature and libr-
ary secretary of Huron Presby-
terial, displayed the books and

good report on Legion Ladies
convention held at Windsor with
an attendance of 1080. ''one

caries donated, out of 39 Zones,
third in money raised and one

vention tickets. A ' total of
$200,000 was raised by the Aux-
iliary in Ontario. More than
800 marched' in the parade with
300 flags. A wreath was placed
by president Tompkins and past -
president Richardson.

married in the base chapel of
HMCS Sfadacona at Halifax, Oct
15. A reception followed at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth
Gardiner, Dartmouth, N.S. The
couple will reside in Dartmouth.

meeting opened with CGIT hymn
and purpose. Twelve girls at-
tended. Martha Eedy read the

was taken. Martha Hodges gave
