Siftos Open Training Saturday Goderich Siftos are scheduled to open training camp this Saat- urday at Goderich Memorial Arena at 2 p.m. Coach Doug Cruickshank is faced with a major rebuilding job as only four or five of last year's team will be returning. Over -age, attendance at 'univer- sity' and transfer of employment have all taken their toll and have left most spots on the team wide open for competition. This year's team will be built around local and area boys, and any players of junior age cate- gory are invited to attend the opening workouts. The __ Siftos iatill be ._grouped with the Preston Legionnaires, Hespeler Shamrocks, Guelph Junior Regals, New Hamburg Hahns, Elmira Juniors and the Hanover Hurricanes in a seven - team league. They will play a 24 - game schedule with the first home game on Nov. 4 against Preston. The first game of the exhibi- tion schedule .is set for Oct. 21 here against the new Ingersoll entry of the Intercounty Junior "C" League.
