Siftos Open
Training
Saturday
Goderich Siftos are scheduled
to open training camp this Saat-
urday at Goderich Memorial
Arena at 2 p.m.
Coach Doug Cruickshank is
faced with a major rebuilding
job as only four or five of last
year's team will be returning.
Over -age, attendance at 'univer-
sity' and transfer of employment
have all taken their toll and
have left most spots on the team
wide open for competition.
This year's team will be built
around local and area boys, and
any players of junior age cate-
gory are invited to attend the
opening workouts.
The __ Siftos iatill be ._grouped
with the Preston Legionnaires,
Hespeler Shamrocks, Guelph
Junior Regals, New Hamburg
Hahns, Elmira Juniors and the
Hanover Hurricanes in a seven -
team league. They will play a 24 -
game schedule with the first
home game on Nov. 4 against
Preston.
The first game of the exhibi-
tion schedule .is set for Oct. 21
here against the new Ingersoll
entry of the Intercounty Junior
"C" League.
The di!seOtheque that was plan-
ned for this Friday evening has

Comments heard around the
school after the trip to M3nt-
real: "How long did you sleep
after you got home?" "I'm tired
but it was a lot o fun." and "I
couldn't understand a word some
of thema said." Most of the
students to wham I spoke agreed
that the trip was a rentai+ding
experience. One enthusiastic
student reported, "r'm sure go-
ing to go next year, evert if it
kills me trying to get • seventy-
five."

To keep pace with the growing demand for goods
and services, many Canadian businesses have en-
larged or.up-dated their facilities with the aid of IDB
loans. If you are thinking about modernizing or ex-
, panding your business, or starting a new enterprise,
and need financial assistance, perhaps an IDB loan
can help you.
