A funeral was held Saturday at St. George's Anglican Church for Mrs. Dudley E. Holmes, 165A Lighthouse street, widow of a former Huron County mag- istrate. Mrs. Holmes, the former Helen MacLean, died Sept. 7 at Alex- andra Marine and General Hos- pital after a 10 -day illness. She was 69. She was born in Wingham, daughter of the late John Mac- Lean and Sarah Gray. " She at- tended public and high school in Wingham. • 'Mrs. Holmes was .a member of St. George's ° Anglican Church and was active in the IODE.
