Enchrscment of the "Moda
means business" program has
gained momentum with Perth
County Council's decision to
accept membership on a coun-
tywide basis. • This brings
the municipal and township
• inearibership total to 68 out
of a possible 80.
' To date, Huron, Perth and
Wellington Coun-ties, and four
communities from the County
of Waterloo have endorsed
the MODA program. This
- leaves 12 communities and
townships that have not join-
ed to date. Except for the
City of Stratford, theseonuni-
, cipalities are all located/in
Waterloo County.
„ Under the -new MOD. fee
schedule, this gives the As-
sociation approximately $21,-
000 towards its desired budget
of $70,000 for the,,promotion
and deyelopment of the four -
county region. ,
The existing Ontario Gov-'
ernment grant of $15,000 and
the recently announced ad- '
