The ,Siftos; enjoying strong

Goderich followers defeated the
Lincs 5.2 in. St. Marys last Thurs-
day, The Siftos turned around,
on, Saturday night and stumbled•
to a si,.al-four win at home.

for most of the 'game in St.
Marys; Dale Rahn was the big
man for the Siftos as he paced
fi em with three goals. His
einate, Dennis Williamson,
contributed to •the effort as he
figured in every Sifto goal. _
Williamson put the locals
ahead at the 25 -second mark of
the opening stanza, cashing in
on„ a pass from Parsons.
St. ' Marys tied the game mo-
mntarily at 4:29, before Rahn feet as he scored on a shot which
put Goderich ahead to stay 11 went in off the stick of Doug
Wilson.

clearing the puck. Once they
did clear it they promptly put
it onto the stick of a Lincs
player.

in their seats Bellamy 'put the
Lines ahead. This goal came
at 1:08.
Ggderich's Dennis Williamson
tied the game scoring on a
power play at 831. Three min-
utes later Delker brought the
St. Mary's supporters to their
seconds later.
Rahn scored his second goal
at 5:39 of the middle frame on
a play from Parsons and Wil-
liamson._

Goderich Juveniles Battle In- Play -Offs
Goderich minor hockey juven-
ile team has battled its wait
through to the semi-finals of the
Western Ontario minor hockey
play-offs.
The team lost the first of the
best of three games in the semi-
final when they were beaten by
thmtr44aarning#onoppo-e R#s, last
Sunday.
The second game will be held
here at 1 p.m, Saturday and if
the series is tied the final game
will be held on Sunday at 1.30
p.m.
if Goderich can take the series
then they will face the Dundas
team in the finals., - -
Iry Schneider is •the manager
of the local -team and Ken Craw-
ford is the -coach.
