Charles Preston, will be the
guest preacher at St. George's
Church ori Sunday morning
at 11 o'clock. He will also
assist the rector at the ad-
ministration of Holy Commun.

Dr. Preston is a native of
.Slielburn, Ontario and a gradu-
" ate of the University of -Tor-
onto and Wycliffe College.
Ordained in Nova Scotia in
1952, he served in Canada's
oldest Anglican Church, St.
Paul's in Halifax, as assistant
curate and married the rec-
tor's daughter, Mary Isher-
wood, who is a fully qualified
medical doctor.
He returned to Ontario to
study psychology and later
served as a chaplain in .two
different hospitals and a peni-
tentiary. He has the Doct°
of Philosophy degree from
the U r;q, 'ty of Toronto. "
In 19 ,: he and his wife
went to Bishop Tucker College
in Uganda to help train native
,
clergy. While there he fravel-
led widely and .worked also
with high school students, uni-
versity ,students, the Y.M.C.A.,
mental hospitals and prison
inmates. -
Mrs. Preston did medical
work as the 'college doctor and',
in several. cl'irics. They have
four children.
Dr: Creston and his family
-returned 'to Canada in June
of -1965 and he is now an As-
sociate Professor 'of Psych.�ol-�,
ogy and Director of.the AtuL

OBITUARY.
MRS. MARY SCOTT WATSON
A life-long Bayfield resident,
Mrs. Mary Scott Watson, died in
Clinton- Public Hospital on Mon-
day, February 7,
She was the daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Mc-
Dougall.
A member of the Bayfield Un-
ited Church, she is survived by'
her husband, -Fred S. Watson.
Also surviving are two sons,
John, Stanley Township;, Stu-
art; Dundas; one ,daughter, Mrs.
W. J. (Ethel) Leeming, Walton.
The funeral service was held
in the Ball and Mutch funeral
home, Clinton, with the Rev.
W. J. Maines of Bayfield United
Church officiating.

Sheardown, Logan Cleave, Bob'
Watson,- nephews; John Camp-
bell, Roy Scotchmer, Albert
Dunn.
