The battle of the decade ap-

election is .a war—man vs. wo-
man. Who shall triumph —
May Mooney or Ken Croft? We,
the teenagers of this town,

the outcome. The possibility
that the voting age may be
lowered to 18 in the near fu-

or will he become the respect-

Mooney has these two fine ex-

to follow.
. Mr. Croft has a -dominating
personality. If elected, he may
give his bountiful energy to the
'forthcoming issues of our town.
The enlargement of the filtra-

controversy.
The proposition of new in-

Missing Flight

fated TCA plane fro -in Mon-
treal to Toronto last Friday
eveiiing, a nephew of Mrs.
Ethel Green and Mrs. Tait
Chill of Goderich was for-
tunately delayed a half hour
on business and failed to
make connections, thus sav-
ing his life. All 118 .persons -
on hoard lost their lives when
the plane crashed. The
nephew, John Ruttle of Wil-
lowdale, was one of some
eight persons who were list-
ed as planning to be on board
but for various reasons were
not. Mrs. Green 'and her son,
Peter, were in Toronto on
the weekend when they learn-
ed of the fortunate delay 'of
