ly ,patrolling right wing on a
line with Delcourt and Rozich.
;He will be replacing Bob Zim-
mer, who is another over -age
player from last season's squad.
Last' year's most productive
right winger, Bill Lindsay, will
not• be • back, as he is also too
old for junior hockey. The
other right wingers on this
year's team will be Jerry Watt,
"Skip" pagsai, who both played
for Stratford last season, and
Doug Fitzgecige, who saw lim-
ited action last year. Coach.
Bill Hartburg, no doubt is ex-
pecting greater things from
Watt and Pogson, since they
both have a year's experience
under their belts. Neither had
outstanding records last season.
There are a lot of "Ifs" on
the team, but from what was
observed during the pre -season
exhibition games, the Braves
could be the team to win all
the marbles this ,season.

One might say that this is
an awful lot about Stratford
but- what about our local team?
Bill Wilkinson—Left Wing
Well, the Stratford scribe who
wrote the above had the ad:
vantage of seeing the boys in
action in several exhibition
games and this, after all, is the
only _way a person can give= an
authoritative report on what
the team in question looks like.
Stratford played some six or
seven exhibition ge mes and our
boys have hardly had seven
practice, so yours truly is not
'going to say one word about
how the boys look.
One thing ,we can.. say for
•certain is that the boys will
hustle and give ht everything
they've got which is more than
we can say for the prima don-
nas of last year. Another thing
we , know for certain is that
you will see a 'good hockey
game on Friday night We don't
expect the Siftos to come out
on top in this one and neither
should you.
We .ask local sport fans for
one small favor—to turn out -
on li5day night, watch the boys
and_ assess thedr capabiitis: Il`
you do come out we know you
will be impressed if you bear
in mind the 'short time they
have been together.
See you at the 'arena?
