MR. and MRS. OWEN' JOSEPH CONNELLY of Goderich who
were married on Saturday, July 6th, 1963, in St. Peter's
Roman Catholic Church, Goderich. The bride is the former
Sharon Elizabeth Peachey, daughter of Mrs. Antonio Scopel
and the late Geoffrey Peachey of Goderich. The groom is

an unknown rifleman on the
beach a mile south .of Bayfield
Sunday night.
Ray Bjorkquist, 31, of 3420
Randolph road, Windsor, was
bending over to pick a stone
oil the beach when he was
struck in the right buttock by
a .22 -calibre soft -nosed rifle
bullet.

He was taken to the cottage
of vacationing London doctor
Jack 11. Walters, given first aid,
then driven to Alexandra Mar-
ine and General Hospital at
Goderich, where the wound was
treated and X-rayed. He re-
turned to Windsor with his
family, by car Sunday night.
The bullet, lodged in the
muscle, was not removed.

not hear the shot which hit
him.

prices quoted on the Toronto
market will be thM weighted
average price of cartoned eggs
at the wholesale to retail ,lever
of' trade.- "Spot!' price ,iuota-
tions will be discontinued, as
of that date: The weighted
average price will be deter-
mined by the Poultry Products
Division of the Canada Depart-
ment
epartment of Agriculture.
For many years the Poultry
Products Division of the Can-
ada Department of Agriculture
used the "spot” wholesale price
in its daily report of the egg
market. This was the 'prevail-
ing average price for loose pack
eggs in 30 dozen cases, deliver-
ed at Toronto.
In, recent years the majority
of eggs have moved from coun-
try egg ,,grading .stations direct-
ly two the retail trade, ort they
m
have oved asy ungraded 'eggs
directly from' QsTu ,,' to
grading stations owned by chain
ore operators. This being the
se, the price quotations used
were virtually based upon the
supply of surplus eggs and such
quotations frequently -failed to
reflect the true market value.
For almost a year, officials
of the Poultry Products Divi-
sion of the Canada Department
of Agriculture; members of the
Ontario Poultry Council, 'fnem-
bbers ,of the Egg Trade, and,
representatives of Egg, Produc-
ers have attempted to deter-
mine a realistic level of the
market upon which., to base egg
price quotations. The 'weighted
average price of cartoned eggs
'at the wholesale to retail level
of trade lavas been accepted as
this basis.
Informed opinion forecasts
the producer price will range
from 10e- to 14c below the
weighted average wholesale to
retail price of carton eggs.
This will be a somewhat wider
spread than that which pre-
vailed between the "spot" price
of loose pack eggs and the
producer price.
During recent weeks the Can-
ada Department of Agriculture
-has_-quoted— bath... the. ;`spot"
priee.f --1•ogse- pack- eggs and
the weighted average .price of
carton' eggs. Effective August
19t..quptations of "spot" prices
will be discontinued.
