throughout this district by local
chairmen with an objective set

In Huron County alone, there
are 66 blind persons. Four
live at Tweedsmuir Hall, Lon-
don, one at Brantford, and the
rest at home. Their ages range
from five years up.
The committee in each county
works very quietly and efficient-
ly to make certain that no blind
person.- ist• --1 :4» -.need or is,
lonely. To make up for the
loss of sight, C.N.I.B. has estab-
lished a training program de-
signed to meet the needs of
both children and adults.
Through this program, blind
persogs in all walks of life be-
come useful .citizens. They
earn their own living and again
take up many activities they.
i thought gone forever. In this
county, Miss A. Lauf ie".is the
home teacher and makes regu-
lar visits to all the blind, teach-
ing them Braille and crafts in
their homes.
