Born in West--Wawanesh Township near the Nile, she is the daugh- ter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Mcllwain. Mrs. Tiffin has been a resident of Goderich for over 50 years. Her husband passed away in 1921. Mrs. Tiffin is a member of North Street United Church. She has 'one daughter, Vera, who resides with her mother. A sister, Mrs. John (Ellen) Mc- Phee, of .
