turkey dinner, the prjzes were
presented to the winning teams.
Jean Pinder presented the
play-off trophy .to Isabel Riehl,
the captain of the Bombers with
a few well chosen remarks,
Harry- Little' presented the Te -
rosining prizes to the other
teams.
After the priizesliwere present-
ed, the election of officers for~
the 1961-62 season was held.

The annual Florence Night-
ingale Service was held last
8unday evening in St. George's
Anglican Church with a large
attendance of members of the
Graduat'e Nurses' . Association
from Wingham, Clinton and
Goderich present in uniform.
/ This service was arranged by
the Goderich Ministerial Associ-
ation. Rev. W. J. ten Hoopen
was guest speaker. He chose
for his text, Isaiah 53:4, "Surely
He hath borne our griefs and
carried our sorrows." A special
anthem was rendered by the
Junior Choir which won first
place for Junior Church Choirs
at the Music Festival at Mit-
chell last week.
A reception was held in ihe
Cafeteria of Alexandra Marine

OBITUARY
MRS. ELIZABETH • KILGOUR
Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Kilgour
died Monday at Alexandra Hos-
pital. She was born in Quebec
City 59 years ago. Prior to
coming to Goderich eight years
ago, she lived at Seattle, Wash.,
and Massey, Ont. She was a
member of the Pentecostal
Church. Her first husband, Syd-
ney Vickery, died in 1933, and
her second husband, 'George
Kilgour, died in 1939.
-Surviving are one son, R. E.
Vickery, Hastings, Michigan;
one daughter, Mrs. Mac (Carrie)
Meirer, Massey; two brothers,
August and William Wohlge-
muth, both of Massey; one sister,
Mrs. Martha Mroeske, Detroit;
and 20 grandchildren.
The body rested at the Lodge
funeral home . -until , noon Tues -
ay. Funeral services " were
,held at Massey on Thursday
with interment in Massey ceme-
tery.
