Mrs.' Walper was, before her
marriage, Annie Youngblut, the
daughter of the late George
Youngblut and Elizabeth Plaet-
zer, and was -born in -the. Mait-
land-Block"in Hpllett Township.
She received her early -educa-
tion at S.S. No. 9, Hullett. She
was married 52- -years ,ago -to
the late Peter Walper who pass-
ed away 27 years ago. They
had lived on their farm in Hul-
lelt Township on the Auburn-
burn
road til moving to Au-
burn 20 yer ago. She resid-
.edi here in the village until four
years ago when she went to
Clinton. She has one daughter,
Mrs, John (Florence) Daer, who
with her daughter, Mrs. Norman
Me!Clinehey and. her daughter,
Cathy, visited with Mrs. Walper
on her birthday. She has five
'grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren. She is a m�eni=
'ber of. the Auburn Baptist
Church and was a, member of
the Women's Institute. The
good wishes of this community'

who has been holidaying with
his cousin, Mrs. Maitland Allen
