and -Ground Crew teams will battle
it out for the Legion Squirt League
championship.

for the Pee Wee Motor League
titles.
The thirr game, for the Bantam,
Midget . League honors, will be
played between the Ainslies and
Fina teams.
Trophies to+ be presented for the
Squirts are as follows: Past pre-
sidents' trophy for the winners, the
branch members' trophy for run-
ner-up.
The Pee Wees: Roy Stonehouse
trophy for winners, Norman Miller`
trophy for runners -kip.
Bantam -Midget: . Clayton Laith-
waite trophy for winners, Ontario
Provincial Police trophy for run-
ners-up. ,
It is hoped to have two members

Hockey Club to referee the games
on Thursdaynight. `
There will be a game between
the six- and seven-year-old Squirt
teams commencing at 7 p.m.

In Pee Wee Play
In the first game of the Pee Wee
Motor League on Saturday morn-
ing, IGA defeated Dodges by a
score of 5-3. to take the round
11 goals to five. Dennis William-
son was the big gun 'of the morn-
ing, scoring all five of his team's
goals. Danny Wilson, Wilf Weber
and Doug Harrison scojed for the
Dodges.
In the second game of the morn-
ing, Studebakers whitewashed
Sheaffers 3-0 to take the round
10-2.. Gary Doak led the winners
with 'two goals while Ron Daer
scored the other goal.
Rouse defeated Fords 4-1 in the
third game to win their total goals
series 5-3. Pete Bettger and Bi11
Wilkinson scored two goals apiece
for the winners. Don Gower and
. John Hughes each had an assist.
Larry Papernick notched_ theonly

In the semi-final series which
began Monday night, IGA defeated
Rouse I -O, with Dennis Williamson
notching the only counter of the

guests at the Thank -offering meet-
ing of North Street United Church
Evening Auxiliary last week. Mrs.

Meditation was in charge of Mrs.

said prayer. A . quartette, consist-
ing of Mrs. John Westborok; Miss
Ruth Westbrook, Mrs. H. Worsell
and Mrs. C. Adams, took _part in
the program. A solo was sung by
Mrs. G. Kaitting, and there was a
reading by Mrs. J. E. Wright.

JUNIOR EXHIBITION
The powerfdl Burlington Indus-
trials whipped Goderich Sailors 7-2
in a Junior "B" exhibition game
here Saturday night. Two Gode-
rich boys, Larry Jeffrey and Dave
Leeson, were among the Burling-
ton scorers. Marksmen for the
Sailors were Bill Pritzley and
Barry Hearn, who came up, from
St. Marys for the game. ,The con-
test was staged in an effort to
raise money to help cover the local
club's deficit. Due to the small
crowd, this hope was not .realized.
