Funeral service was held in the chapel of Sherrin funeral home in Toronto on January 14 at 1.30 p.m_ Interment was in Pine Hills 1 cemetery. The son of Mrs. Emma Gold- thorpe and tho-_late, Albert Gold -.I thorpe, of Goderich, he was edu- cated at Saltford Public School and Goderich Collegiate Institute. During the Second World War, he served in the RCAF. He resided in Detroit and Schumacher before settling in Toronto about 15 years ago. Mr. Goldthorpe travelled for the Barbet Machine and Tool Corn -1 pany. He belonged to the An- glican Church. Surviving are -his wife, the form -1 erg Hazel Andrews; two sons, Rote - - r aid, "9 and T-erenee; 5; his fhti'mer, Mrs. Emma -Goldthorpe; one sister, Mrs. A. R.
