Andrew's Presbyter_an Church, Blyth, on September 16. 6, Miss Hazel MacDonald, of Gode- rich, will leave October 1 for Formosa to oontinue mission work there, while Miss Beatrice Scott, of Port Elgin, is on her way back to India. ' Workers are needed Ito take the place of Misses Williamson and McConnell, who have retired. In addition to the need for more missionaries, a number of deacon- neisses are being sought for work in the home district. The theme of the rally was stew- ardship, and'the presbyterial presi- dent, Mrs. D. Glenn Campbell pre- sided. The devotional period was divided `in two parts, ii charge of Clinton Auxiliary and Seaforth Auxiliary. Mrs. Campbell gave a thought-provoking message on the real meaning of stewardship. Mrs. W. Shor.treed, of Blyth, wel• - comed the delegates, and the treas- urer, Mxs. G. Bisset, reported an increase in givingover the same time last year. It was announced that the Mis- sion Band Rally •would be held in Belgrave on October 20, and a workshop for Mission 'Band leaders, and Sunday School teachers of jun- ior classes will be held onOctober 26 in Clinton Presbyterian Church. Some of the editors are shown above examining the ship's press, which prints a daily newspaper, the Empress of News, and turns out the many other printing jobs, such as menus, required by a ship at sea. Inspirational poems were read by Mrs. R. Venus, and musical numbers by the Arthur Circle Sex tette were enjoyed by all. Mrs. D. J. Lane introduced the guest speaker, Mrs. Arthur Ham- ilton, of Atwood, who is president of the Synodical of Hamilton and London.
