the young couple left on a motor

The couple will make their home
in Halifax, N.S., where the groom
is stationed with the Royal Can-
adian Navy.
Prior to the wedding, a miscel-
laneous shower was held ,at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. E. Atkinson,
Albert street, in honor jof the
bide-e1eot.
The bride Was a member of the
Goderieh Girls' Trumpet't ''Band.

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Chisholm call-
ed on Mr. and Mrs. Jack Chisholm

Mr. Arid Mrs. Allan Reed were

on Bill Wiggins who is in Toronto,
General Hospital. His condition i''
much improved and Mrs... Wiggins
returned home with `them for a
few days.
K. K. Dawson, merchant, is hav-
ing some alterations made on his
general store which, when. finished,
will make it very .modern.
Mr. Albert Orser, formerly of
Dungannon, died Saturday at the
home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter
Driver, of Golden Valley, in hit
95th year. His remains will be
brought,for burial in Dungannon
cemeteey.
