Most seed -cleaning plants report an orderly flow of business, which should relieve the yearly rash for seed cleaning services prior to seeding. Livestock continue to winter well with most farmers having suf- ficient quantities of feed to cover the remainder of the feeding period. There appears to be adequate supplies of seed -grain and grass - seed in the area with the following prices being general for varieties listed: Red clover, 21c per lb. (bus. lot); Brome grass, 30c, per lb.. Ladino clover (U.S.A. imp.) $1.60 per lb.; Canadian alfalfa, 24c per lb. (bus. lot); Seed oats, Lorrain reg. number 1, $1.85; Clinton (cert. num 1), $1.95; Abegweit (cert. n Numbumb numb*, ), $1 $$11...5955.; 1.55.95; Beaver (comm. , . 1 DUNG►ANNON MAN I8 i CHARGED WITH ASSAULT Gordon Stewart of Dungannon appeared in Magistrate's court Thursday last on a charge of as- saulting Howard Sproule, an of - I ficer of the Dungannon Agricultur al Society, and also on a charge l of damaging a door of the Agricul- tural Hall, Dungannon. He plead- ed not guilty to. both charges and the hearing was adjourned at that time until this afternoon. Police say that on January 23, Stewart picked up a two-by-four and threatened Sproule at the Agricultural Hall and an argument ensued over the 'activities of each regarding the Dungannon Agricul- tural Society. Damage to the door was estimated by police to be about 20 'dollars but Stewart said only the lock was damaged. About half the accidents in On- tario last' year" occurred in citit,s and towns.
