Inside the main entrance is an authentic re-creation of an old-time general store with a post office where you can buy phila- telic items, including many available only at the Museum. Iii the general display area, several pernla.ieiit exhibits are located, as well as those which change with the seasons. In another section, visitors can inspect postal boxes and scales going back for more than a cen- tury in Canada. The permanent collection is housed in security display cases which, because of its value, can only be seen but not touched. This collection is constantly be- ing added to, as the Museum is the recipient of gifts from stamp enthbsiasts, the post office, and other postal authorities inside and outside Canada.
