The beautiful lighted tank, also
a Legion gift, had been set out
earlier, and Saturday morning
found all the Brookhaven resi-
dents anxiously and eagerly
seated around the lank, waitir*
for its oecupants. When Don
Adams, past priesident of the Le-
gion, end t Parnell, chairman
of the community affairs branch,
arrived to introduce the fish to
their new home, it 'was to the ac-
companiment of eager questions
and dose supervision.
One Brookhaven resident had
to be reassured that the .new
home would be suitable for the
fish. *No they won't die,- Mr
Adams explained. Another senior
citizen 'was under the mistaken
impression that the fish 't‘ere
meant for other than just enjoy -
Mem purposes. (1\16, they're not

Pas explained that the Legion-
naires had approached the home
earlier to ask what the residents
would most appreciate. "We told
them w&d like the aquarium,"
Mrs Ten Pas said. "because the
residents spend much of their
time in that area with nothing to
do. This will give them something
to watch." The tank is in the
small lounge at the sotithern end
of the home.
