Bob Stewart of Langside was admitted to Wingham hospital on Sunday with a heart condition. On Monday Mrs. George Currie, East Wawanosh, was admitted. The community wishes both a speedy recovery. Barry Elliott returned home from his 4-11 trip to Indiana on the weekend. Miss Christine Scott of Hanover Airgonauts meet BELMORE — Mac and Norma Inglis hosted the June meeting of the Belmac Argonauts on the front lawn of their home. A large group of Mariners were in At- tendance. Mr. -Lake opened the meeting by playing' a record of the new hymn which was written for the 50th Anniversary of the United Church. A lively sing -song of old and new favorites then followed, accompanied, by Jim Busby on the ukelele. Eileen Johann led in the devo- tional period. The Scripture read- ing was by Norma Inglis. Eileen then read two short stories on co- - operation. The devotions were then closed with prayer. Mary Renwick read the min- utes of the last meeting. Lifeboat number 2 will be in charge of the July meeting. The offering was received and dedicated. A brief business meeting was held. DONNEYBROOK — The fourth meeting of the 4-H Garden Club, "P's and Q's of Gardening", the name the club decided on, was held Thursday morning at the East Wawanosh Park. The meet- ing opened with the 441 pledge and the roll call was answered by all the members. The members continued discussion on material and talked about the home as- signment.
