Visitors ranged in age from one ex- • treme to the other, but the reaction from all was one of unanimous enjoyment. Faith is topic BELGRAVE — The May meet- ing of the Women's Missionary Society was held Tuesday after- noon, May. 6 in the Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Joe Dunbar presided and opened the meeting with a joem on "Faith". "My Faith Lodks up to "Thee" was sung. Scripture from the 23rd Psalm was read by Mrs. Garner Nicholson. Mrs. Stuart Cloakey gave the medita- tion entitled "Faith". Mrs. Alanr Dunbar led in prayer. The topic was taken by Mrs. Walter Short - reed on centennial year of the Presbyterian Church of Canada. She read a poem "One Hundred Years". The secretary's report on March and April meetings was given by Mrs. J. C. McBurney and the treasurer's report for the two months was given by Mrs. Victor Youngblut. A thank you note from Kathy McNichol was read. Mrs. Joe Dunbar reminded everyone of the Spring Rally to be held in Hensall, May 14, the guest speaker to be Pauline Brown. Belgrave WMS ' will have the devotion for this meeting. The June meeting"will be prey sided over by Mrs. Garner Nicholson, this being the Home Helpers' meeting. Thirty-one sick visits were recorded and the roll call was answered by.nine ladies present with a verse on faith. The offering was received and dedicatedfollowed by the hymn "Faith of Our Fathers", and Mrs. Dunbar closed the meeting with prayer. "YOU SORT OF TEASE 1T" Steven Ruttan explained as he showed how to card wool for spinning during demonstra- tions at the Turnberry Central antique show last Wednesday. The students learned all the preparations for spinning real wool as part of the work for the show.
