Mrs. Roy Simmons is spending a few days this week with Mr. and Mrs., Doug Wildfang at Missis- sauga. Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Wilson of Toronto visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Wilson. Mrs. Pat Daunt, Mrs. Doug King, Mrs: Jack Douglas and Mrs. Wellington Hargrave at- tended the 4th annual meeting of the' Anglican, Church Women of the Diocese of Huron on Thurs- day at St. James' Westminster Church, London. Rev Kenneth Anderson son of a former rector here, is the assistant rector at this Church. Mr. and Mrs. Don Coghlin at- tended a Lions banquet and dance in Caledon East on Satur- day evening. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Stinson visited Sunday with Mrs. Zeigler Gen Johnston, accompanied by Bev Little of Shelburne, de- livered a team of horses for James McKay of Dobbinton to Newton, New Jersey , last week. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Armstrong visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Victor O'Brecht in Etobicoke. Mr. and Mrs. Gren Parkinson Of Toronto spent the weekend with - the latter's mother, Mrs. Ruby Foster. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Schneider and family of Kitchener spent Sunday at their home here. Mrs. Ernie Jonas of Bresleau spent several days recently with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Schumacher. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sothern visit- ed Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mulvey at Belmore. Master Troy Will of Listowel visited last week with Mr. and Mrs. Doug Hargrave and Tracy. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Parson of Quebec are spending some time with relatives here. Mr. and MrtAr Joe Nicholson and family of : ;luevale visi Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ted Klaassen. A surprise birthday party was held Satbarday night in the Ford- wich hall for Carmen Bride of Port Credit and formerly of Fordwich on the occasion of his 70th birthday. Cards were enjoy- ed during the evening. Lunch was served by the UCW of the United Church to. about 60 friends and relatives who attended from Exe- ter, Don Mills, Ayr, New Ham- burg, Port Credit, Erin, Scarbor- ough, Listowel, Palmerston, Brussels, Clifford and Fordwich. Mr. and Mrs. Jack King of List- owel were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Randy King. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Mason and family of Listowel visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Carroll John- son.
