the' Anglican, Church Women of
the Diocese of Huron on Thurs-
day at St. James' Westminster
Church, London. Rev Kenneth
Anderson son of a former rector
here, is the assistant rector at
this Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Coghlin at-
tended a Lions banquet and
dance in Caledon East on Satur-
day evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Austin Stinson
visited Sunday with Mrs. Zeigler

by Bev Little of Shelburne, de-
livered a team of horses for
James McKay of Dobbinton to
Newton, New Jersey , last week.

A surprise birthday party was
held Satbarday night in the Ford-
wich hall for Carmen Bride of
Port Credit and formerly of
Fordwich on the occasion of his
70th birthday. Cards were enjoy-
ed during the evening. Lunch was
served by the UCW of the United
Church to. about 60 friends and
relatives who attended from Exe-
ter, Don Mills, Ayr, New Ham-
burg, Port Credit, Erin, Scarbor-
ough, Listowel, Palmerston,
Brussels, Clifford and Fordwich.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack King of List-
owel were Sunday visitors with
Mr. and Mrs. Randy King.
Mr. and Mrs. Doug Mason and
family of Listowel visited Sunday
