ANNUAL MEETING
The annual meeting of the
Wingham and District Hospital
Association will be held on Fri-
day, March 14th, 1975 at 8 p.m. in
the Nurses' Training School
building on Catherine Street in
Wingham.
All matters of business per-
taining to the Wingham and Dis-
trict Hospital Association will be
transacted including the election
of directors and other officers.
In order to cast a ballot in the
election of directors a person
must be a member of the Asso-
ciation. One-year memberships
may be' obtained for the sum of
$1.00 at the hospital office or the
Town Clerk's office. These mem-
berships must be purchased at
least ten days prior to the Annual

Clarenee,H. (Chad) Henning of
200 Sholg,- Streets Wingham,
Pigged away at the Wingham and
District HoSpital on Thursday;
March 6, in. his 3rd Year, Mr.
Henning had been for eleven,
weeks, having suffered a frac-
tured hip on December 20. He
later contracted pneumonia.
Born and educated in Turn -
berry Township, Mr. Henning
was a son of the late Herbert
Henning and Mary Steel, He
married the former Mary Abra-
ham in Wroxeter on August 30,
1922. They farmed for many
years, retiring in 1962. He was a
member of the Wingham United
Church.
Left to mourn his passing are
one daughter, MildredHetming of
Wingham; and two sisters, Mrs.
Gladys Gorrell of Pilot MOUnd,
Manitoba, and Mrs. Allan- Mc-
ICercher of Huronview, Clinton.
There is one grandchild, Guy
Henning of Oshawa.
He was predeceased by his wife
on May 4, 1969; one son, William
Henning, in June of 1973; and
three borthers, Leonard, Stanley
and Lloyd Henning.
• The late Mr. Henning rested at
the S. J. Walker Funeral Home,-
Wingham, where complete
funeral and committal service
was held Saturday at two o'clock
conducted by Rev. Barry Pass-
more. Temporary entombment
took place in the Wingham Ceme-
tery Chapel with spring Inter—
ment in Wroxeter Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charlie
Robinson, Raymond Henning,
Clarence Henning, Hugh Harris',
Raymond Bolt and Edwin Ander-
son.
Miss A. Wallace
Was a native of
Turnberry Twp.
The death occurred at Huron -
view, Clinton, of Miss Agnes Wal-
lace of Wingham. Miss Wallace,
who was in her 86th year, died
Saturday, March 8.
Born in Turnberry Township on
October 11, 1889, Miss Wallace
was a daughter of the late David
H. Wallace and Isabella Eadie of
Turnberry. She attended SS No.
3, Turnberry, andlor many years
was an employee of the Wingham
and District Hospital. She was a
member of the Wingham United
Surviving is orie brother, An-
drew Wallace of 73 Burnham-
thorpe Cres., Islington. She was
predeceased by two brothers,
Thomas H. Wallace and William
Wallace.
The late Miss Wallace rested at
the R. A. Currie and Son Funeral
Home, Wingham, where funeral
service was held Tuesday at two
o'clock conducted by Rev. Barry
Passmore. Interment followed in
the family plot, Wingham Ceme-
tery.
DIED
FRICKEY—At her home in Kit-
chener, Violet Frickey, in her
63rd year. She was the former
Violet Errington, widow of the
late Walter Frickey. She js sur-
vived by one sister, Mrs. Ade-
line Dunn of Kitchener; one
brother, William Errington of
Wingham; three nieces and
three nephews. She was prede-
ceased by two brothers. Fun-
eral service and committal
took place at the Gruhn Fun-
eral Home, Kitchener, on Tues-
day, March 4 at two o'clock. In-
terment followed in Mount
Hope Cemetery.
Because there is no specific
cure for arthritis, and because it
affects each sufferer in so many
ways and can be with him so long,
treating arthritis means treating
not merely a disease, but a whole
human condition.
