dare 1? How can ,1 delve into the
mind of thisgenius and . try to
;understand why or how he thinks
as he does?
All of us have, at one time or
another, disappeared into :a
fantasy world where we Were
haunted by the past, frightened
by the future, And in "After the
Fall", Millers famous play
which had its world television
premiere last Monday evening,
we enter the torture in a man's ,
mind and exit feeling our own in
adequacies . and looking at . the
times we have failed those we
love.
Quentin is a lawyer, a man with
every normal natural drive,a
wish to be successful, to be rich,
to be loved, to be respected, to
accomplish something and find a
reason for living. And who of us
has not had the same' desire?
With any measure of success Can
also come destruction and at we.
become involved in our own tiny
world, we can destroy Others and
eventually destroy ourselves.
And when we end up alone, as did
Quentin, it is .always easy to
blame others -when in fact, the
blame lies only with ourselves.
