and Mrs, Hazel Purdon of Luck -
now were Saturday visitors with
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Curran of West
Wawanosh.
Harris Purdon on Thursday
last, while working in the bush,
bad a limb of a tree strike him,
breaking his arm in two places,
which necessitated his removal
to a London hospital.
Mrs. Andrea Gaunt of London
spent the weekend with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob
Adams, and her grandmother,
Mrs. Tom Inglis, and family.
The Lucknow PeeWee team, of
which Richard Moore is a
member, on Friday evening
played Mildmay at Lucknow with
a score of 2-2.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rintoul, Mr.
and Mra. Neil Rintoul aild Steven
were Sunday afternoon visitors
with Mr. and Mrs. nave Ober-
hol :zer and Jeffery of'`Wingbam.
Mr. and Mrs. Neil Hinton' and
Steven are spending a few days in
Toronto. Neil is attending the
Beef Producers' Convention at
the Skyline Hotel. Mrs. Rintoul
and Steven are visiting with Mr.
and Mrs. Bill Sproul.
Mr. and Mrs, Rae Lewis moved
on Saturday to their new house on
their farm, RR 2, Wingham.
Mr. and Mrs. Murray Grenville
of Exeter spent the weekend with
her grandparents, Mr. and Mn; s.
Ben, McClenaghan.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mowbray
were Sunday visitors with Mr.
and Mrs. James Wilson of Wing -
ham.

Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Victor

Mr. and Mrs. Wallace tailligan,
Clara and Mary Lou spent the
weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Pat
Donnelly and Angela of Streets-
ville. Mary Lou attended the
school dance there and met many
of her former schoolmates. They
also attended a skating party
where they met their former
associates.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Caslick of
Culross and his mother, Mrs.
Earl Caslick, were Sunday
visitors with Mr. and Mrs.
Gordon Scott of Ripley.
Mrs. John Gaunt and George
were in London on Sut day at
Victoria Hospital to Ball John
Gaunt who had undergoOe sur-
gery last week. He expects to be
home in the near future.

Langside Christmas concert held
in the community centre where a
large crowd filled the hall on F'r'i-
day evening.

in prayer. Roll call was answered
by nine, naming their favorite
Christmas carol. The birthday
calendar was then marked.
The offering was received by
Brian Rosa and the offering
prayer was given by Wayne
Forster. Vicki Scott played a few
selections on her electric organ.
David Ross gave a reading,
"Christmas Again" and Kendra
Purdon's reading was entitled
"Christmas". The president
closed the meeting with prayer.
The leaders, Mrs. Hugh Simp-
son and Mrs. Archie Purdon,
served cookies, drinks and
candies and each gave each
member a gift.
