The lucky students achieving 5 or more A's on their report cards last June re- ceived a crest and a point toward their school letter and a cftizen- ship award. This award was handed out by our viceinincipal, Mr. Cober, who beamed at the number of students who • came forward for their awards. We hope to see as good turnout in the 197475 school year. The route for the Canadian tour 'has been planned accOrding to communities boasting arenas with a large enough ice surface and ample seating to accom- modate an ice show audience. "We realize that the interest in figure skating is very high in Canada" said Carnival on Ice company manager, Harry Hard- ing, "and feel that we not only provide an entertaining evening for everyone, but will be bringing a company of experts into com- munities for close-up study by focal students of the art."
