School fair
board meeting
BELGRAVE - The annual
meeting of the Belgrave, Blyth
and Brussels School Fair was
held on December 5th in the
community centre here.
Mrs. Leslie Bolt conducted the
election of officers and directors
for the 1975 fair which will be held
on Wednesday, September 10th.
All the executive will remain in
office for the coming year.
Several new' directors were ap-
pointed: On the 4th line Morris,
George Procter and Garner
Nicholson; 12th line East Wawa -
nosh, Murray Shiell; Belgrave,
Mrs. John Gnay; Brussels, Mrs.
Kenneth Johnston and Chester
Higgins, with the rest of the
previous gar's directors being
re-elected.
Mrs. George Procter was ap-
pointed an auditor.
The next meeting is slated for
January 28, 1975.
Euchre party
BLUEVALE — Mr. and Mrs.
George Fischer and Mr. and Mrs.
Mungo MacFarlane were in
charge of the euchre party,
Thursday night at the Bluevale
Community Hall.
Ten tables played and prizes
were won by: Ladies' high, Hugh
Campbell; ladies' low, Doug
Chapman; men's high, Ross Tur-
ney; men's low, Al Hann; door
prize, Stella Pocaluyko.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Elliott and
Mr. and Mrs. Les Greenaway will
sponsor the next euchre on Dec.
19.
