team, of which Richard Moore is
a member, played Friday night
at Blyth with a score 64 in favor
of Tucknow and on Monday night
at Teeswater with a 2-2 tie.
Visitors on the weekend with
Mr. and Mrs. Ken Dupress were
Mrs. Greg' Gregory of Oakville
and. their daughter, Judy Du-
press, and friend of Milton.
-Mr. and Mrs. Walter Elliott and
family were Sunday visitors with
his sister, Mrs. Campbell, Mr.
Campbell and family of London.
Mr. and Mrs. Garnet Farrier
were Sunday visitors with Mr.
and Mrs. Gordon Murray of
Walton.
On December 10, Whitechurch
U.C.W. will meet at the home of
Mrs. Garnet Farrier.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim McIntyre of
Val Caron, Northern Ontario,
visited last Monday night with
her parents and on Tuesday
attended the funeral of the late
Bill Parker at Exeter. Mr. and
Mrs. Carl McClenaghan also
attended the funeral.
On Saturday evening, Mr. and
Mrs. Bill Gibson, Rhonda, Bill
and Gregory visited With Mr. and
Mrs. Gordon Fisher and family of
Afton and on Sunday they visited
with his mother, Mrs. Marshall
Gibes of I;keow,
Miss Janet. Sleightholm and her
brother, Lloyd Sleightholrn, left
last month for Australia where
they hope to remain for a time.
Lloyd Phillips is spending this
winter with Tom Jamieson in the
village.
Whitechurch United Church is
planning its Sunday School
Christmas concert for the even-
ing of December 20.
Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Laidlaw and
Mrs. Robert Laidlaw received
word on Friday that Mrs. Laid -
law's first cousin, J. D. Holmes,
had been found dead in the house
on his .farm in Clinton vicinity.
The Laidlaw relatives attended
the funeral being held at Clinton
on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Johnston
and family of St. Pauls visited
Saturday evening with Mrs. Ger-
shom Johnston at Wiugham, f n

Little Lyle Willis was a patient
