CATCH THAT MONKEY
Cottagers in Keppel Township
called police when they saw a
baboon wandering in the area 1st
weekend. The Owen Sound OPP
said it was probably the same
animal seen near the city on Nov.
4.
Residents of the area from Kin-
cardine north have repeatedly
seen the elusive monkey, which is
believed to be one of several
which escaped custody in the
Toronto area a few weeks ago.

The Wingham Kinsmen Club

12. The'members were treated' to
a stimulating description of
Cii~NX radio and TV by news edi-
tor, Alex Walton, Alex was intro-
duced by Jim Beattie and pre-
sented with a pen and pencil set
by Dan Mansell.
A new members kit -was pre-
sented by Rene Jones to Paul
Moody and Paul reciprocated by
giving Rene a sponsor's badge.
In aid of Wingham minor hock-
ey, President, Ted O'Hara .ac-
cepted a cheque for $263.00 from
Ron Shaw. Members of the Luck -
now Club presented President,
Andy McBride with the "raiders
° trophy". Andy must take the tro-
phy and five local members to
some other zone club within 30
days. The meeting adjourned at
10:20.

Mr. and Mrs. Alex Robertson of
Wingham have returned home
after a 10 -day trip to Israel where
they visited Jerusalem.
Bethlehem, Jericho, the Dead
Sea, Sea .of Galilee and villages
along the Mediterranean coast.
While in Jerusalem .the visited
with Mirka- Laura Collar,yTormerf y
of Wi'righain, who is a missionary
there.
On July 6, 1899, the first White
Pass passerggy train to leave
