Ferguson gave an out- line of the Deanery meeting held in St. Thomas' Church, Walker- ton. Slides of the north, shown by Mrs. Parker, were the highlight of the evening. She told of her stay this past summer at Cape Dorset and Frobisher Bay, and the customs of the Eskimos there. .One of the slides showed the sun coming up and the moon go- ing down with about 23 hours of daylight in the month of July. Mrs. Parker said the people of the north live a quiet and easy life, . without the hustle and bustle like the people of our area. Hunting and . fishing are their chief oc- cupations.
