Wingham started well, Stewart Mann running off-tac on the first play for 85 yards Stratford's six-yard line. Ra Nicholson went over for t touchdown three plays later an d Kevin Stuart added a two-poin convert on a pass from Kei Raymond. After that initial success, th offence was completely shut o from any more scoring. Tw fumbles and a pass interceptio didn't help. On defence, once again led by the outstanding play of Gord Black and Henry Olechowski, it was hard hitting and gang tackl- ing throughout the game. Except for two long passes, the defence didn't make too many mistakes. Wingham completed its schedule on Tuesday with a game at Stratford Central.
