Kinsmen from m?st centres in
southwestern Ontario were
engaged in a similar activity on
Sunday. They raised a total of
about $61,000 for the CF fund,
• apparently considerably more
than wat expected when the
plans were laid for the walk-a-
thon.
As the walkers arrived in
Wingham they were treated to
lunch at the armouries building,
where several members of the
Zone and District executive had
gathered to offer their congrat-
ulations.
ENTERTAINERS
WROXETER — The fifth meet-
ing of The Entertainers was held
at the home of Mrs. Fines, Oct. 1,
at 7:15 p.m. Six girls and one
leader attended.
They discussed -themes for
parties, decorations and enter-
tainment and exchanged recipes
and ideas for their files.

buffet supper for Christmas
dinner.
