daughter o Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
M. King of 'R..2, Teeswater. The
groom's parents are Mr. and
Mrs. Edmund Nicholson of North
Bay.
Rev, er. Mulhall performed the
ceremony at three -thirty o'clock
on Saturday,, August 17. The altar
boys were Gerard King, brother
of the bride and Larry O'Malley,
cousin of the bride, both of RR 2,
Teeswater
Mrs. Rosemary Struthers of
Wingham was the organist and
accompanied Mrs. James
.Fischer, the soloist,,, or RR 3,
Mildmay, t, who sang "The
Wedding Song"
, at the
processional "Ave Maria" at the
offertory; "On This Day Oh
Beautiful Mother". at the
Communion; "Wedding Prayer"
at the signing of register; and
"WalkHand in Hand With Me" at
the Recessional.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a white
polyester satin gown with empire
waistline, Victorian collar and
long full sleeves with wide cuffs
and covered buttons. A Juliet
lace eap held her scalloped silk
illusion floor -length veil. She ear-
ried a cascade bouquet of pink
Sweetheart roses and baby's
breath entwined with trailing ivy.
Mrs. Robert J. Kirkland of
Windsor, sister of the bride, was
matron of honor. She was dressed
in a formal gown of mint green
polyester crepe with short bell
sleeves. Bridesmaids were
Patricia Nicholson of Hamilton,
sister of the groom, and Sandra
King of RR 2, Teeswater, sister of
the bride. Their gowns were
identical to the matron of hon-
or's. They all wore white floppy
wide -brimmed picture hats with.
green multi -colored trim and
carried cascade bouquets of
white shatsa daisies with yellow
Sweetheart roses and fern with
trailing yellow velvet ribbon.

Kirkland of Windsor, brother-in-
law of the bride, and Robert J.
King of Teeswater, brother of the
bride. All wore formal charcoal
grey tuxedos with yellow frilled
shirts, black bow ties and white
and yellow shasta daisy
boutonnieres.
Following the ceremony a
social hour, dinner and reception
were held at the Formosa
Community Hall where the
guests were received by the
parents of the bride and groom.
The bride's mother chose a
formal gown of mauve em-
broidered sheer nylon with long
full sleeves, wide cuffs and
covered buttons. She wore a
mauve and purple orchid cor-
sage.
The groom's mother chose a
formal gown of multi -colored
nylon chiffon with fall skirt and
cape sleeves. She wore a corsage
of minature pink and white
carnations.
For their trip to British
Columbia the bride wore a beige
and white polka dot polyester silk
jersey dress with a short sleeved
beige jacket. A corsage of yellow
daisies completed her outfit.
Mr. and. Mrs. Nicholson will
reside in Brampton, Ontario. The
bride is a graduate of F. E.
Madill Secondary School and St.
Joseph's School of Nursing in
Guelph.
Honored guests at the wedding
were the bride's grandmother,
Mrs. Hilda Harris, Wingham;
Mrs. Emilie Elston of Wingham
and Mrs. Velma Falconer of RR
2, Teeswater. Other guests at-
tended from Guelph, Goderich,
Hamilton, London, Mississa a,
Mildmay, Mount 'Forest, New
Liskeard, North Bay, Teeswater,
Hanover, Belmore, Toronto,
Wingham and Whitechurch.

wedding dinner was Edwin King
of London. Both are uncles of the
bride.

Church Women on October 1.:

Thanksgiving theme.

wed in St. Andrew's Church
Marjorie "Eadie and Brian
Deyell were united in marriage
at St. Andrew's Presbyterian
Church, Wingham, on September
21, at 4:00 p.m., amid a fall set-
ting of bronze and gold mums and
gladioli.
The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. David Eadie of RR 2, Wing -
ham, and the late David Eadie.
The groom's parents are Mr. and
Mrs. Norman Deyell of Wing -
ham.
Rev. Robert H. Armstrong of-
ficiated at the double -ring
ceremony and Neil Eadie,
brother of the bride, presided at
the organ. Mr. and Mrs. Murray
Gaunt, sister and brother-in-law
of the groom sang "The Wedding
Prayer".
The bride was given • itt
marriage by her brother, John M.
Eadie. She chose a floor -length
gown of polyester sheer. The
dress featured a Victorian neck-
line trimmed with Belgian lace
and long slender sleeves, empire
waistline and a long straight skirt
featuring Belgian lace motifs
trimmed with tiny seed pearls. A
long full thapel train, . falling'
from the waist, completed the
gown and her headpiece was a
Juliet capulet trimmed to match
the gown. She carried a bouquet

of orange delight roses, stephan-
otis and white baby's .breath.
Mrs. Mary Eadie acted as
matron of honor with .Mrs. Diane
English and Miss Frances
Mulvey as bridesmaids. The
attendants wore floor -length
gowns of rust polyester with
bpd; es and sleeves of yellow and
rust Sheer. Miss Stephanie Gaunt
was flower girl and wore a long
dress of yellow and rust sheer to
match the bridal attendants. The
attendants carried baskets of
yellow shasta mums with fall
wheat and rust rosettes.
Terry Deyell was .bis brother's
best man with Charles Eadie and
James English ushering guests.
Master Christopher Eadie was
ringbearer.
A wedding dinner followed at
the Belmore Community Centre
where the bride's mother
received guests wearing a long
beige crimp -knit gown featuring
a slender -sleeved top fashioned of
re -embroidered nylon and a
matching floor length sleeveless
coat. A yellow rose corsage .com-
pleted the ensemble.
The groom's mother assisted
wearing a floor -length powder
blue jersey peau gown ensemble
featuring long slender sleeves
with matching sleeveless coat,
mandarin neckline and empire
waistline trimmed with silver
braid. Her corsage was of pink
roses:

Mrs. George Deyell of Wingham,
and his grandfather, Frank Ort-
lieb of Keewatin. The bride's aunt
and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Robert
M. Mulvey, and cousins, Mr. and
Mrs. Stewart Mulvey, of Calgary,
Alberta, also attended.

wore a burgundy crimp -knit
dress with embroidered trim,
black accessories and a corsage
of white mums.

During the meetings . of the
Wingham IIT Club, many new
things have been learned. Miss
Jotiwsma showed how to arrange
flowers. Mrs. Jacklih demon-
strated how to set tables with
different sets of dishes, buffet
and formal ways.
Family _meals, hospitality,
entertaining, themes for parties,
how to introduce people, packing
a suitcase, have all been dis-
cussed as part of this project.
Different types of sandwiches
were made using colored, bread,
which all the girls enjoyed eating.
