PeeWee Hockey Starts
• As this is being 1.4ritten we are
in the middle of an 80 -degree heat
wave. However, the Wingham
,PeeWee hockey team has begun
practising in Harriston to ready
themselves for the next season
and a tournament in Harriston
this week.
The boys meet Honeywood
tonight (Wednesday) at 7:30 and
'then meet Harriston at 6 p.m.
Thursday. The round robin
tournament will end when Wing -
ham meets Guelph on Friday
evening at 7:30.
Midget Hockey Tournament
• 4;'•' Plans are already being laid for
• the 1975 Midget Hockey Tourna-
ment and/the tOurnament com-
mittee has announced its chair-
man for this year. Allan Harrison
will be taking over the reins. Al
convened\ an early committee
meeting so that some things
could be taken care of that should
improve the tournament. '1
committee has also decided *
place an advertisement in the
year's constitution handbook in
order to make more coaches
aware of the tournament.
The new chairman plans to out-
line all the jobs he feels it will be
necessary to undertake and4 then
he will look into setting tip the
committees so that there will be
lots of time to organize.

In the second period the Wing -

On Tuesday evening, July 30, a
meeting for Ball and Park was
held in Whitechurch Community
Memorial Ha% There were only
six in attendance. This was not
enough to cOnduct a meeting.
Those present discussed what
should be done. It was decided CO
hold a meeting the first week in
March 1975 so plans could -be
made to sponsor ball team i and
make needed repairs to the ball
park. Vic Emerson agreed to
contact Bill Evans and Wes Tiffin
and check the north fence of the
park. The books had been audited
and a balance of $64.64 is .on hand.
Miss Clara Milligan is spending
a week at Camp Kintail.
Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Milligan
and Mary Lou spent the weekend
at Streetsville with Mr, and
Pat Donnelly and family and Mr.
and Mrs. David Craig and family.
Little David Craig returned here
with his grandparents and is
spending this week with them.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Van Der
Klippe, Alice, and Linda returned
recently -from a three -weeks'
visit to titir homeland, Holland..
Their sou Bill was in charge of
the farm in their absence.

further treatment.

Robert Ross. Cheryl remained
for another week's visit.
