young participants in Art Trek '74 prepare to dunk their
materials into the dye. The three•day Art Trek '74 protect
was held at the Wingham Public School last week and was
well attended by area children.. Art Trek was orgolzed by
the Wingham Recreation` Dept. and the province's
Community Services brach in order to bring art
workshops•to a number of areas in rural Ontario.

Twenty-one members of the
Over 90 Club inet on Wednesday
and following the program,
Mrs. Nellie Welsh was a guest for
the afternoon and played several
piano instrumentals and led the
sing -a -long with readings by Mrs.
McGratton and Walter Kings-
wel l ; two new members were
welcomed to the Club, Mrs.' Mc -
Gratton and Tom Herman.
Everyone joined in singing "Hap-
py Birthday" to Mrs. Isabella
Hamilton, who celebrated her
100th birthday on August 18. ,
The residents were entertained
on " Family Night" with mili-
tary band organ music on the
lawn provided by Murray Draper
of Clinton. This machine is one of
three custom made organs and
was built in North Dakota and
purchased by Murray from a
dealer in North Carolina. The 100
organ pipes and drums are con-
trolled by the action of the rolls
and plays many of the familiar
band tunes.
