Moving to Saskatoon, where her father ,took* a pastorate, she attended the ,University of `Saskatchewan and *,aught for several terms at prairie school* Returning to Toronto, and attending Ontario College of Education, she then taught, specializing in English, French° and Physical Education, in a branch of Hamilton Central Collegiate. • In ' 1927, she married Walter Uffelxnan. of 'Waterloo in Preston, and they lived in' Montreal for five years. On their return to Toronto, Mr. Uffelman, new retired, was a chemist with the Dunlop Rubber Company. Mrs. Uffelman was a tireless worker on the executive of the "Dominion Board of the Women's MISSiQnary Society and later the United Church Women pf the Timothy Eaton Memorial Chapel where both were. valued mem- bers of :the. congregation. Besides' her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. It. H. (Ann) . Bollman of North Bay -one son, :Ward of Woodstock and three young. grandsons of Woodstock.
