Electric Tractors
With this unusual machine, you get quick -starting, eco-
nomical, long-lasting power for all of your winter work
—even when it's downaround zero! With each charge
(just a few pennies worth of ordinary household cur-
rent) you get hours of snow removal, leaf sweeping and
lawn trimming --and it recharges to full power over-
night. Up to 70% of its weight is over the drive wheels,
too—for superior traction.

Miss Hilfman says "I feel
dance is a good forni of xprejs-

pecially, have emotions and ideas
they want to express with their
bodies but they lose this desire
when never shown how. I want to
teach them, And I want to help
everyone understand what dance
can really mean to them."
Miss Hilfman and recreation
director Elmer Wick propose to
begin the school on June 3. Mr.
Wick says, "We hope to house the
school in one of the local facili-
ties." •
Anyone of any age is welcome
to join the course, which will be
composed of 35. one hour lessons
through June, July and August.
The cost is $25 per person and $20
per person if two members of the
same family join.
Miss Hilfman says "dance is
just about . the most enjoyable
exercise there is, because of the
music and the constant work to
create expression using it as the
vehicle,"
The instructor will place all of
the, students into particular age
groups and "We will work toward
a possible public performance at
the end of the summer, using only
the students who wish to perform
publicly."
There are three .phases of the
program, the first beginning in
June, when instruction will m-
clude • basic stretching,
strengthening and technique

stan of creative prit►ci.

All three ' phases will feature
character dancing such as mod-

plus others.
An -added feature at the school
will be the presence of a guest;
Stephen Robar, a professional

choreography and drama.
Others from neighboring com-
munities are welcome to attend
the School. At this point, it is a
suinmer course but, Miss Hilf-
man and the recreation depart-
ment hope to see it established as
a year round program, if enough
interest is evident.
Mr. Wick supports the program
wholeheartedly, saying "I think
it is a good project to instigate
cultural annexation to sport.

Mr, Iron wouldn't let us be
Babe RuthS. But, one day, he
came over to homeplate, loos-
ened his tie and sat down beside
pression. It combines drama,
music and other forms„to become
a total package to develop poise
and confidence. We're very lucky, ,
to have a competent and learned
instructor such as Miss Hilfman
take an interest in starting up
such a school in Mount Forest.”
Mr. Wick says a survey was
done•about a year and a half ago
to determine what area of the
arts would be most popular for
the purpose of beginning a course
in this area, and "dance was
right at the top of the list."
Miss Hilfman says, "Strength,
flexibility., control' .acid balance
are the basis of dance. These
skills all have to 'be learned,
practised and put to use on a
regular basis."
