last Friday night.
Mr. Cronkwright, who was a
passenger in a car driven by
Murray Johnston, 21, of Luck -
now, was -taken- to' Victoria 'Hos-
pital-sin-Ltondiik-with- chest =in-
juries. ireis, sikid 'to fie in fair
condition.
The driver was taken to hos-
pital in Wingham suffering from
multiple abrasions but was. later
released. The OPP have es-
timated damages to the Johnston
car at $2,000.
James Schkeller of Wmghmn
escaped injUry when he was in-
volved in a single car accident on
Huron County Road 7, east of
Hwy. 4 in Turnberry Twp. April
12. Police estimate the damages
to his car at $175.
On Sunday, Rex McClory of RR
1, Ethel was injured in a single
car accident on Sideroad 15-16,
south of Concession 11-12, Grey
Twp. No information as to the ex-
tent of his injuries have been rel-
eased. Investigating OPP of-
ficers have set damages at $800.
Ross Cardiff of RR 4, Brussels
was taken to Witigham and Dis-
trict Hospital after he was in-
volved in a two -car collision on
Huron Couniy Road 16 at the
junction Sideroad 25-26, Morris
Twp. April 14.
Mr. Cardiff was admitted to
hospital with severe chest in-
juries and fractured ribs. He is
listed in fair condition.
The driver of the other car,
George Bernard of Clinton, was
not injured in the crash. Dam-
ages to two cars involved have
been estimated at $1,600.
The Wingham OPP detach-
ment reports that members of its
force charged seven people under
the Liquor Control Act, laid 15
charges under the Highway Traf-
fic Act and charged one person
under the Criminal Code.
What's new at
Huronview?
The Invitation To Live crusade
team visited the Home on Friday
afternoon and held a service in
the auditorium. Rev. McWhinnie
introduced the team which in-
cluded Rev. Marney Patterson,
theme speaker; Mrs. Marshall,
soloist; Mrs. Mills, pianist and
devotional leader for the service.
Three new residents, Mrs. Vin-
cent, Mrs. Bernard and Mrs.
Hoggart were welcomed to the
Home and those having birthdays
during the week were honored at
Monday's activities. Marie
Flynn, Norman Speir, Jerry and
Terry provided the music with
volunteers from the Christian
Reformed Church aasisting with
wheel chairs.

Night with step dancing, vocal
and instrumental numbers.
