to drug seizure in ,London
Police Chief ' Jim Miller an-,
nounced that the apprehension of
a break and enter suspect in
Wingham has led to the confisca-
tion ,of a large quantity of drugs
by RCMP officers in London, On-
tario.
On March 22, Ronald Sumpton
of London was arrested for.
breaking and. entering when
Wingham Constable Doug Foxton
apprehended him as he tried to
escape through a' back window at
Bridge Motors in Wingham.
Constable Foxton -had become
strspicous after he noticed some
fresh` footprints . in the snow
around the car dealership. Upon
investigating he saw someone
inside the building. The constable
then radioed for assistance.

Last Friday police investigated
an accident involving Mrs.

seeing the Ahara car, pulled onto
the street from a laneway and
collided with Mrs. Ahara's car.
Total damages to the cars in-
volved were estimated at $400 to
the right side of the Ahara vehicle
and $25 to the headlight moulding
of the Leachman car.
On Saturday evening Wingham
police investigated a report of a
fight in the Manor : Hotel.. As a
