During Friday night the high winds Whipped up snow into balls, some = small and oth6r1 quite large, in the yards and fields around our village where the wind could get a good sweep at the snow. It was quite a sight to see all the balls of snow which made one think of a rural school yard when the pupils had been making snow men or having a snowball fight. Many say they had never seen this before.
