attended school in Turnberor and
for 42 years was a- railway fore-
man for the Canadian National
Railway, working out, of Biuevale
andWingarn. Reretired .in 1903.
Mr. Elliott wasa member O
. the Wingham United Church and
the Masonic Lodge, Branch 306 of
Durham.
Left to m Ms passing are
his wife, the;former Elizabeth
Magee, whom he married June 7,
1911, in. Morris Township; four
sons, Edward, Norman, William
and. Lloyd all -of Wingham, and
two daughters, Mrs, ,Miller
(Edna). Davis of'Wiligham, and
Mrs. Edwin (Dorothy) Ryan of
Toronto. A1so'surviving are.nine
grandchildren, three ° great
grand -children . and one sister,
Mrs. Letitia • Mitchell of Wing -
ham.
He was predeceased by one
daughter, Irene, and three broth-

for Many years, Mrs. Emma
,Adeline Zurbrigg of Fordwieh,
passed away at the Callander
Nursing Home, Brussels, on
Wednesday,. January 23, follow-
ing
ollying a lingering illness. She was in
„her 90th ,year:
Born and educated in Wallace
Township, she was the former
Enema Adeline Virenzei, a daugh-
ter of the late Leonard Wenzel
and Barbara Kammer. On Mach
11, 1906, she married Adam Zur-
brigg'and they farmed in Wallace
Township until their retirement,
to Fordwich in 1936. He died in
May of 1962. In recent years, she
has been a resident of Callander
Nursing Home.
'Mrs. Zurbrigg was . a member
of the Fordwich United Church.
Surviving are two daughters,
Mrs. Clarence .(Ruby) Ott of Lis-.
towel and Mrs. Stewart (Vera)
Musgrove of RR 2, Wroxeter; two
grandchildren and two great-

Muskoka accident takes
life of Thomas McGlynn
'Thomas Augustine McGlynn of
Bluevale was the victim of a,traf-
fic accident last week and died on
Friday in the Bracebridge Hos-
pital. His car was involved in a
head-on collision with a heavy
truck about a mile from the vil-
lage of, MacTier in the Muskoka
area.
Mr. McGlynn, who was in his
40th year, leaves his wife and
four children, all at home.
He was born at Wingham, a son
of Mr. and -Mrs. Augustine Mc-
Glynn. His father predeceased
him in 1964. Educated at the
Glenanan school, he later worked
for several years at the Bauer
factory in Kitchener before re-
turning to this area where he
operated a general contracting
business since 1959. He was a
meMber of the Roman Catholic
Surviving besides his mother,
Mit Annie McGlynn of Wing -
ham, are his wife, the former
Eileen Ernewein of Chepstow,
tWic sons and two daughters,
James, Tommie, Cathy and
Anne, all at home; six brothers
and sigters, Patrick, Hamilton;
Jerry, RR 2, Wingham ; Bob,
Hamilton; Mrs. Orville (Rosie)
Gatecliffe, Hamilton; Mrs. Lorne
(Eleanor ) Curran, RR 2, Wing -
ham and Mrs. RaYmond (Judy)
Fischer, Formosa. He was pre-
deceased by his first wife, the
fornier Ruth Greyerbiehl, who
died in 1962, two brothers, Dennis
and D'Arcy, and his father.
Mr. McGlynn rested at the S. J.
Walker Funeral Home until Mon-
day, when Father Nolan con-
ducted service at Sacred Heart
Pallbearers Were Oscar Kieffer,
Harold Ernewein, Jim Shaw,
Stan Horsburgh, gamey Grey-
erbiehl and Donnie Greyerbiehl.
