The Scouts opened the meeting
,with the breaking of the flag and
the collection of dues. After in-
spection, Counsellor, Martin
,Cretier told the Scouts that in 1975
five Scouts would be going to the
World Jamboree. The five Scouts
pickedwould go Swede.n and have
a chance to go' anywhere in
Europe. The Scouts selected
would have to be at least 14 and
have a good number of merit
badges. A
The Scouts were broken up into
three sections Bronzes, Silver
and Golds.

The community was pleased to
learn on Thursday that Miss
Annie Kennedy was allowed to
return home from Wingham Hos-
George Fisher was released
from Wingham Hospital on Wed-
nesday and Nat Thompson of
Lucknow was released on Thurs-
day.

weather enjoyed by this com-
munity changed Sunday morning
when a sleet storm struck. Roads
were so icy that all church ser-
vices in the area were palled off.
