Announce sale
of Fordwich
bowling lanes
Mr. and Mrs. William Marriner
of Fordwich this week announced
the sale of the Forwich Bowling
Lanes' equipment to Mr. and
Mrs. Gordon. Matheson of Moles-
worth.
Mr. Marriner who established
the Fordwich lanes 13 years ago
has been failing health since
being injured in an auto accident
a couple of years ago.
Mr. and Mrs. Matheson are
presently building a bowling
alley in Molesworth and expect to
be open in 'time for the fall bowl-
ing season in September. It is be-
lieved the Mathesons will operate
six lanes as was maintained in
Fordwich.
Mr. and Mrs. Marriner have
retained ownership of the build-
ing in Fordwich which housed the
bowling lanes.

KNIT WITS
WROXETER -- The sixth
meeting of the Knit Wits was held
at the home of Mrs. Dick de Boer
April 30. Plans for achievement
Day were discussed along with
applying elastic in firm knits and
the conventional zipper in a seam
and without a seam.
Mrs. de Boer demonstrated ap-
plying elastic in the firm knits
while Mrs. Glenn McMichael ap-
plied the zipper in a seam and
without a seam with Janet de
Boer applying the invisible zip-
per.
At the seventh meeting on May
7 at the home of Mrs. McMichael
there was further discussion
about plans for Achievement
Day. Mrs. de Boer demonstrated
a hem with cuff while Mrs. Mc-
Michael demonstrated the tai-
lor's hem.
