A headdress of Belgian lace and ,seed pearls held her shoulder - length veil and She carried a bou- quet of whitecarnations with ,a centre of orange roses. Miss Julie Henderson, sister of the . groom, of Wingham, was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Mrs. Janis Davidson and Mrs. Jennifer Gusso, both sisters of the groom. Flower girl was the bride's sister, Miss Evelyn Stroop of Brussels. Alt bridal attendants were dressed alike in empire -styled floor -length gowns of yellow swiss dot. The V -back and bodice front were trimmed with eyelet lace and all wore white picture hats with yellow tulle trim. To complement their 'ensembles, white and yellow shasta daisies and orange pompon mums cas- caded from white baskets which the attendants carried. David Langridge- of Toronto was groomsman and guests were ushered by Malcolm Galbraith of Toronto and Bill Kerr of Wing - ham. The bride's brother, John Stroop of Brussels, was ring bearer. Daffodils and yellow candles decoratedthe tables at the Wing - ham Legion .Hall where the reception was held. Contests were conducted by Mrs. Murray Mulvey, 'Mrs. Earl Fitch and Mrs. Ralph Dick- son, Marlene was aided in the opening of her giftS by. her mother, Mrs. Tom Inglis, the groom's mother, Mrs. Henry and the groom's sister, Mrs. Bennett. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey McDowell, Bel - grave, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. ltoy Robinson, also of Belgrave. Rev. C. Deli- cate Swiss lace accented the neckline and pointed sleeves. A train fell gracefully` from the back of the dress held by a lovely white bow. A headpiece of rosettes held her four -tiered shoulder -length veil trimmed with tiny, seed pearls. The bride carried a cascade of red roses. and ivy. Miss Judith McDowell was her sister's maid of honor. She was gowned in a floor -length dress of green organza, with white lace trim accenting a softly scooped neckline and puffed sleeves. She carried an arrangement of yellow and white shasta daisies. The bridesmaids were Miss Carol McDowell, Sister of the bride, Miss Linda Walden of myth and Miss Marie Gear of Waterloo, cousins of the bride. They were gowned identical to the . maid of honor and carried matching bou- quets. The groom's best man was his , brother, -Leonard: Robinson, and ushers were Steven Robinson, also a brother of the groom, John McDowell of London, brother of the bride, _ and Neil Beiman, friend of the groom. • A reception and dinner fol- lowed in the Auburn Community Hall where guests were received by the bride's mother who wore a blue flowered floor -length gown of brushed velvet. A corsage of blue carnations and black and sil- ver accessories completed her ensemble. She was assisted by the groom's mother who was in a floor -length gown of nylon sheer over polyester crepe featuring a soft pink bodice with long sheer broidered polyester lace. over polyester .crepe, A fitted head- band of silk roses with seed pearl centers held her shoulder -length veil and she carried a . cascade bouquet of orange delight roses, daisies and baby breath.
