their hair and carried nosega
of white dafsies,, mauve carna-
tions and baby's breath.
Best man•was Wayne Wilhelm,
brother of the groom, and ushers
were Ron Rideout, brother of the
bride, and. Richard Munn.
The bride's .inather chose
long-sleeved gown of pink, mauve
and turquoise flowered polyester
peau, with aroll collar. The
mother of the groom wore a gown
of pink and mauve chiffon. Both
wore mauve orchids.
Father Liddy and Rey. McCall,
both of Waterloo,Officiated at the
evening wedding. The reception
was held at the Waterloo Rod and
Gun Club in St. Jacobs.

Women was held Tuesday af-
ternoon of last week at the home.

FORDWICH -- The afternoon
unit of ,the UCW held its April
meeting in the Sunday school
rooms. The worship service was
taken by Mrs. Jack Wilson and
Mrs. -John Topham beside a *or-
• ship centre of the cross, open.
Bible •and : lighted candle'. The
theme of the worship was on the
meaning of,Easter. The scripture
was read by Mrs. Wilson and
Mrs. Topharn gave a meditation
on the incidents during the week
before Easter, leading. up to the
first Easter.
The 'program was convened by
Mrs. William Wilson and Miss
Violet Beswetherick and they
used the portrait of Mary from
Living Portraits of Bible Women
under the headingsof Mary in the
family home; Mary weeping over
,her brother Lazarus, and Mary
anointing the feet of Jesus.
Mrs. Bruce Agla presided for
the business period and wel-
comed the ladies. The roll call
was answered with an Easter
thought. Correspondence in-
cluded thank -you notes from Mrs.
Inez Gibson and Mrs. Austin
Stinson.
Two invitations were read and
accepted, the first from the
evening unit to join them at their ,
May meeting and the second ,
invitation from the Anglican
Church • Women to join them at
their meeting in May.
A box had been placed in the
basement for good secondhand m
