The Oc- tober meeting held in the Ford= wich hall was no exception—as 35 4-H homemaking club girls and many of their mothers were in attendance. There was a display of sleepwear, a project taken earlier in the year, depicting an assortment of trims, edgings, etc. Another group had an attractive table and a poster entitled, "Buf- fet Dining Setting for Thanksgiv- ing”. Miss Kathy Machan was the commentator for this display. There were also two skits, "Your Lunch Is Better than Mine", and "Let's Eat Out". Both dealt with food, and the eat- ing habits of some folks which could be improved by following Canada's Food Rules and thus maintaining better health, keener minds, and more active bodies. A special, feature of the evening was the buffet fondue luncheon prepared and served by the girls to the WI members and their mothers. Much ereditais Clue the leaders, Mrs. D.
