Mr. and Mrs. David Hanna, John, Ronald and Joanne of Kit - Anniversary at Langside WHITECHURCH — Rev. Wil- liam A. Henderson of Woodstock was guest speaker at anniversary services held Sunday at Langside Presbyterian Church. Director of music was Mrs. Agnes Bregman. The morning service was held at 11 o'clock. Mr. Henderson's topic was "The Lord's Side" and scripture, read in unison, was Psalm _121. Miss Annette Oughton of Wingham sang "It's Real" and another solo. The choir message in song was an anthem, "Glory to the King of Kings". At the evening service the choir sang ' "I Will Sing of My Re- deemer". Nancy deBoer and Phillip Steer sang a duet, "Whiter than Snow". Mr. Hen- derson's sermon was entitled "The Biblical View of History". Karel deKoei jer of the. Mrs. Edgar Gaunt, recently visited with her family, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Routliffe of Ottawa and Mr. and Mrs. James Gaunt, An- . drew, Carolyn. and Douglas of Area man hurt near Seaforth William Ross of RR 1, Wing - ham, was admitted to the Wing- ham and District Hospital last Wednesday evening shortly. after 7:15 following a one -vehicle mis- hap, near Seaforth. Mr. Ross, • 49, was travelling five miles north of Seaforth, near the Winthrop intersection, when he apparently lost control of his car. The car left the road and struck a hydro pole. ,. Mr, Ross was brought ,to the Wingham hospital by Mr. 'and Mrs. George Gallaway of RR 1, Wingham. He' was treated for abrasions to his face; neck, chest and ribs,, lacerations to .his right elbow and shock. . Early this week his condition was described as satisfactory. The accident was investigated by Prov. Const. Hassle of the Goderich detachment of the On- tario Provincial Police.
